Dr. Peter O'Donnell has been elected as an Alumni Honoree by Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society

Dr. Peter O'Donnell, Associate Director of the Center for Personalized Therapeutics, has been elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society as an Alumni Honoree for his outstanding leadership and accomplishments. 


Ryan P. McKillip has been awarded the 2016 ASCPT Presidential Trainee Award for his work done on the 1200 Patients Project

Ryan P. McKillip, a second year medical student at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, has received the 2016 ASCPT Presidential Trainee Award for his work analyzing how pharmacogenomic information can impact the doctor-patient relationship. This research was completed as part of the 1200 Patients Project.

Dr. Tanima De is a recipient of the 2016 ASCPT Presidential Trainee Award for her work done in Dr. Minoli Perera's laboratory

Tanima De, PhD has been awarded the 2016 ASCPT Presidential Trainee award for her work on identifying the genetic determinants of hemorrhagic complications from warfarin in African Americans. To find out more about her research, view her video here

Dr. Michael Maitland wins prestigious award

Mark Ratain, MD Named as Honorary Fellow by the American College of Clinical Pharmacology

Mark Ratain, MD, the Leon O. Jacobson Professor of Medicine, Chairman, Committee on Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacogenomics  and Director of the Center for Personalized Therapeutics is the 2011 recipient of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology’s (ACCP) Honorary Fellow Award.  This award recognizes Dr. Ratain’s  expertise in the use of investigational agents for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. Cancer specialist Mark Ratain receives prestigious award from leading oncology society

Mark Ratain, MD, the Leon O. Jacobson Professor of Medicine at the University of Chicago, has been awarded the Translational Research Professorship for 2011 by the American Society for Clinical Oncology's Conquer Cancer Foundation.

The award, according to the foundation, provides "flexible funding to outstanding translational researchers who have made, and are continuing to make, significant contributions that have changed the direction of cancer research and who provide mentorship to future translational researchers."
